Atlantis by night

We arrived at the hotel in time for breakfast and after some quick refreshments headed for the waterpark. Aquaventure, set in 42 acres, is the largest waterpark in the Middle East. There are loads of rides, including the Leap of Faith. At 27.5m tall and 61m long, it catapults riders into a transparent tunnel and through a shark-filled lagoon. We were having so much fun messing around in the water that we hardly noticed the temperature - more than 40 degrees C! It wasn't easy to take photos with all that water around so will have to go back another time to get some proper pix. By the time we had dinner it was getting dark and the hotel was looking lovely with all its twinkling lights.
