Oh My Goodness!

I'm in Twizel at a conference and this afternoon's session was held out at a wee local cheese factory (that works out of a small shipping container).

Not only do they make cheeses, they also make the crackers and condiments themselves.  Their pickled pears and runny pear jelly were absolutely divine!  Of course I had to stock up, and there is no point in buying the condiments without the cheeses to go with them so I bought cheese too.

On the way back to the conference centre we drove past the section that one of the conference attendees owns.  This is their view!  I only had my phone on me but it still gives a darned good idea of the scenery.

I can see why they are building here.  

Oh, and the work part of the conference is going well too.  Just headed off to the bar for the wine tasting they are hosting before dinner.
