Blipper, hubby with fig tree

Got up before the sun today for a long ferry ride and a long drive to Parksville to pick up the golf cart batteries ( and leave the old). Then lunch and a drive back to the ferry to Saltspring Island, a few stops and then to blipper nanzy19 and G's place out in the country where we collapsed in their wonderful garden.  A delicious dinner , including a fabulous clafouti with these figs from this tree!  Lots of good conversation til we just had to fall into bed in this quiet spot.. What lovely people they are!
