Okavango Delta Day 3 - Last day on safari

Our last day out on the delta:
This elephant got really close and wasnt that happy to see us!

We went out in boats on our last afternoon, skimming across the wetlands and lakes.  We saw some amazing birds but I am never fast enough to get good shots of them.

A final shot of our two great guides, Big O and Jacques who looked after us from the minute we arrived, drove us every day, telling us so much about the Okavango Delta and its inhabitants, sat and ate with us, walked us to our lodges at night and woke us up by calling our names each morning( Ok I forgive them for doing this at 5.00am each morning!).  We learned about their lives and their hopes for the future as we sat around the fire after dinner.  It is not a holiday you repeat but that makes it all the more special.
