Coastal Walking

We headed to the east coast today, passing through Moelfre to Lligwy Beach. A bit of a hidden gem of a beach with a little cafe by the side of the coastal path. Dad, Bailey and I headed around the path to Moelfre before cutting in land to three ancient sites: a Bronze Age burial chamber; the ruins of a twelfth century chapel and the remains of a fourth century settlement. It was a warm walk and Bailey needed a few carries, including over numerous stiles which were far from dog-friendly. So, a paddle in the sea and an ice cream from the cafe after our picnic lunch were required. Bailey enjoyed a bit of everyone's ice cream too. (Extra shots of Bailey to follow once I am no longer trying to blip from my iPad.)

Back to Beaumaris and I headed in to do a bit of shopping amongst hordes of other folks who were clearly in the town instead of on the beaches due to the change in the weather. Fish and chips for tea and a final walk on the pier this evening - though with too many other folk to make a pier shot possible.

Extra added: Bailey enjoying a bit of everyone's ice cream.
