The Husband

We left the scenic views behind, The Husband being our last mountain encounter, and went back to the forest. We had a couple options today and none were ideal. We could have a very long day and hoof it over 13 miles to the trailhead where there would be no water, cross our fingers that water would be flowing through Louise Creek over 11 miles away, or go off trail to Tokatee Lake which was only about 9 miles away. We decided to test our map skills and bushwacked our way to Tokatee Lake which thankfully wasn't too difficult to find. The mosquitoes were HORRIBLE and we were eaten alive!
