Sailing home

The end of a perfect day involving a sail on PS Waverley down the Firth of Clyde to Millport via Rothesay and Largs, a day of meeting old friends, playing frisbee on the croquet lawn of a cathedral with my grandsons, exploring the grounds of the same cathedral with them, and eating fish and chips on the sail back, the paddles thumping rhythmically beside us.

The sun shone all day, and set behind the hills as we arrived home.
