guess who’s coming to dinner?

Major house cleaning job as Anniemay’s sister comes tonight to stay for the weekend.  This is a nice surprise as they originally only had plans to stay overnight owing to other commitments.  Although they are in the UK for a month, they both come from large families, so there’s a lot of to-ing and fro-ing going on.

It’s not until you get down and dirty with a vacuum cleaner that you really notice just how dirty they can be.  I mention this for Blacktulip’s benefit, because she will point out that it need dusting. 

Speaking of which - she and JJ dropped in on a mission of mercy yesterday afternoon, bearing chocolate biscuits instead of the traditional grapes.  Which was nice.  Very nice in fact.
