Pond at Inverewe....

Today  was the last day of our holiday, and another fine day although cooler than earlier in the week. We decided to head up to Inverewe Gardens for a gentle walk and a bit of a photo fest! ( Hence the extra photos!) We've been many times before but usually on a more intemperate day, so the sunshine was an added bonus. There have been lots of changes since our last visit in 2012 - improved paths, new gates, the very recent opening of Inverewe House to the public and a new café, the Bothy. There were warnings about the impact of the unseasonal gales of two weeks ago on the garden but it didn't alter our experience. A memorable few hours!
