In the city

Came across to Edinburgh this afternoon to stay with Daughter No 2, as I have a gardeners' meeting tomorrow near Peebles. I thought I'd wait to get a good Blip en route, but the rain got worse as we drove east and I finally arrived Blipless, so had to record an Edinburgh street scene! One side of the street is original, the other modern.

Why do we always arrange to arrive in Edinburgh in early evening when everyone's home from work and there are no parking places! I managed to park halfway down the next street, which was a lot better than the last time!
