The accidental finding

Rain stopped play

...but not at the Olympics, where Team GB did rather well. I am so glad for Murray: he is beating the big boys at last, after so long!

As for the rest, I lounged around rather too much. I am not sleeping well at night, so making up by sleeping during the day. Poor Bomble has grown a coat as thick as a Mohair jumper...

("What IS a Mo, anyway?" asked my brother during the 80s craze for mohair sweaters and suits. Good question; I still don't know...)

...and is now shedding fur, but being sick on hairballs in the process, which acts as a distressing type of alarm clock. I have combed enough off him today to make several grey-black waistcoats. Please apply if you would like one.

About 6pm I decided to try blipping, between thinking about supper and dashing next door. I ducked between raindrops and sky-rumblings, to feed the three cats at no. 45, before returning to look at the paltry plant shots I had managed. None of them were great, but then again the ones I shot on the iPad 2 camera, which I am trying out, were rubbish. And as for a satellite image of the weather map of the UK: bo-ring!

So this will have to do. I will have more energy tomorrow, and the thunder will clear away the remnants of my persistent headache.
