More Horsemanship

Three months ago Angie took part in a two day "Horsemanship" course with Sultan (the grey). Not riding but ground work to improve the "communication" with ones 500kg of danger.

Of course she planned to follow up the course by daily training at home but, but but .....and all my problems were certainly part of the buts as were the dreadful bugs that seemed to have exploded in quantity in this wet cool summer.

Today she started on the 2nd part of the course, again two days. I popped over to bring something she had forgotten. I didn't understand a word of what they were doing but was nice to see the riding stables where we often used to go about two years ago to have Rosie shod by a specialist farrier. A friend has taken over the stables and has done a great job in smartening it up. A lot of work and I don't know how he manages it despite having a "proper" normal job.
