Time to relax...almost

Its almost the end of term...so for the first time in ages, I got my sketch pad and pencils out and did something creative.

Drawing is not something that I am particularly good at - thats why my artistic nature tends towards either photography, or 'abstract' paintings - asome of which are to be found in the past 240 entries in blip - abstract paintings are good for me because they aren't supposed to look like anything, and photos because they are exactly what the camera saw.

Drawing - too many opportunities to make a mistake!

I drew this from a profile shotthat I took of Corin a couple of months back - start with something fairly straightforward I figured.

Problem is now, I don't want to do anything else to it, because this is a pretty good start for me - it actually looks like him!

Dilemma...

Leave well alone methinks - don't want to upset him by making a balls up of it!

Am off to look after Corin as he is poorly sick - possibly flu...our Doctors surgery is accepting only emergency appointments (our next door neighbour works there) as there appears to be a flu epidemic developing and our local neighbourhood is just a flu disaster zone - there's signs on the door of the surgery saying "If you have flu-like symptoms, drink lots of fluids and take paracetamol"...joy
