Wild Nature

A warm and dry day, 30. C, humidity 30% in the afternoon. Now it is 9 PM and temperature is still 23. C! We went to the Park of the City to ride our bikes and found this caracara on a nest built by a rufous hornero. Not sure what was going on there: Was the caracara just resting? Had he already eaten the kids and/or waiting for the parents? I don't know, he simply flew away minutes later. Extra pic: a guira cuckoo walking in the lawn.
One more gold medal for Brazil: men's football, we beat Germany in the final match. This was the first time we got it since modern Olympic Games started 120 years ago, let's celebrate!
