Looks Good To Me

Wooden Boat Center

We had some time to kill before boarding the ferry this morning, so we parked downtown and visited the Northwest Maritime Center. Port Townsend is a hotbed of boating activity. If you're a boating fan, the annual Wooden Boat Festival is well worth a visit -- but book accommodation well in advance.

I was very impressed by the huge mast being built there -- 81ft/25m long. See extra photo.

We barely had time to enjoy a delicious lunch before getting in line for ferry boarding. It was unusually hot, and there was no shade, so we were very glad when it was time to board and park in the shade.

Back at home, we're trying to stay cool. I hope it's not as hot tomorrow.
