Lyme Hall

We were out with friends on the other side of the Pennines today and visited the splendid Lyme Hall just south of Stockport.
It was showery, but fortunately they subsided and the sun made a brief appearance.
This setting is famous for the scene in the TV series Pride and Prejudice where Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth) emerges from the lake in his wet shirt.
