Refuelling stop for the steam train driver...
Our camera club went on a super trip today. We travelled on a coach to Pickering, where we had a private carriage booked on the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway through Goathland to Whitby. It was the Whitby Regatta weekend, and we'd hoped to see the racing on the sea in the afternoon; however it had been called off today as the sea was too choppy and the wind too strong. Never mind, there was lots going on including a classic car show.
I got back quite late so these have been processed quickly - I'll make a flickr album tomorrow if I've time. The train driver was actually in a very jolly mood, I just caught him in a grimacing moment!! The extras show the train en route (tender first), and the firebox glowing hot.
