Fife!

A long lie (which included getting up for a bit to FaceTime B), breakfast, and then into the car and a road trip out to Fife.

A beautiful day with blue skies. First stop was to Elie. We ended up parking at the Earlsferry end, and walked to the far end of Elie beach, which was gorgeous, if a tad breezy. A stop at The Ship Inn for food changed into a drink as they'd stopped serving. So, after our drinks, it was back into the car and along to Anstruther. We managed to find a parking space a few streets away from the harbour, and set about joining the queue of folk outside the Anstruther Fish Bar. Thank god it was sunny and we'd been to the loo....as it was a 45 minute wait to get served. But, totally worth it. The fish and chips were so good.

After filling our bellies, we took a walk round the harbour before jumping back in the car and heading home.

Fife was great. I'm ready to do more exploring.
