Fringe time...

Finished work at noon, then headed home.

After lunch Iain and I walked into town and managed to grab a couple of tickets for an extra show of Mark Steel's In Our Toon. A wander down to Brewdog for a pint and some people watching, before heading back up to the Assembly Hall on the Mound. While queuing outside, the rain got so heavy, we were allowed in early! Result!


Mark Steel's show was great. Lots of Bretix observations as well as his usual town/city based humour. I like the little news snippets and interesting facts he finds out about places.

After the show to took a wander to the Edinburgh Gin garden aka St Andrew Square for a wee swally before heading home.

The headache that started in the morning was showing no signs of leaving, and the idea of wandering the streets and bars of Edinburgh with it was less than appealing.

So, home, The Returned, bed.
