.......I scream, you scream............

.......we all scream for ice cream!

After yesterday's headache and hours of sleep I obviously wasn't sleepy last night...........watched the Olympics........dropped off around 4.00........slept right through until 8.30.

Woke up fresh as a daisy..........headache gone...........downstairs..........fed the cats.....had a coffee............loaded the dishwasher...........ate a bowl of cereal...............brought my washing down...........loaded and set off the washing machine..........vacuumed the downstairs......dealt with the litter tray..........had a coffee...............tidied the conservatory.......................got the table ready for lunch.

The Daughter arrived around 2.00............the S & H and family about 2.30, bringing lunch with them............we talked..........I played with Charlie and Hannah. The S & H cooked..........roast pork, parsnips, roast spuds, sweetcorn, broccoli, green beans, Yorkshire puds and gravy............delicious.

Dessert was ice cream............Cadbury Flake cones or Solero........then coffee...........as you can see Charlie agreed with me and went for the Solero.

And then the tiredness hit me..they all left just before 7.00............and then I fell asleep!.............missed texts from D and B.............woke up at 10.43...too late to go for a beer.

So.............do I give in and go to bed now...........and probably wake up in a couple of hours time.....or stay up to watch the Closing Ceremony........and hope to get a decent sleep later.
