........the mother of all..........

...........headaches.

Another almost sleepless night last night........managed about an hour and a half............an hour of which was between around 6.45 - 7.45..

I've had a screaming headache all day.

Fed the cats............had a bowl of cereal......sat down to watch the second half of yesterday's United game..........which I recorded while watching GB win Hockey Gold.

Saw until minute 84....next thing was the Daughter waking me up at 2.15.......she had a cuppa and then went shopping...............next thing was my mate B waking me up at 6.10............on his way home from seeing his beloved Burnley beating Liverpool 2-0...........we had a coffee/tea and he headed off home.

Fed the cats.....had a bowl of cereal.

It's now 8.43.......and this is my tea!

When I've been awake I've drunk lots.......in case the headache is caused by dehydration.............and I've had 4 Max strength Solpadeine...........the headache is still firmly fixed around my right eye.............I can't even be bothered to watch the Olympics...............just sat listening to the rain hammering on the conservatory roof, staring out into the dark.

Thursday's appointment can't come soon enough.
