Orval

I went up to John Lewis for another raid on their tapestry wool selection, to find that they were having some sort of secret sale - all skeins reduced to 10p (normal price £1). The sign was almost invisible. Embroidery skeins also.....seems very strange. Hope they're not closing up like Jenners haberdashery dept.

Later on I heard that the legendary Toots Thielemans had died in Brussels at the age of 94. Time deploy that bottle of Orval that I've been saving up for the right moment. Proost, Toots!
