The men's 100m finalists were all there.
I saw what it means at both ends from incredible joy to incredible deslolation, depending how your race went.
There is a fine line between peak performance and the results if pushing the body were also evident in the number of injured athletes we saw tonight. These men and women are giving it everything.
I have been on "buggy duty" tonight, taking athletes and coaches to the stadium. It also included taking medallists and 100m finalists.
