Norfolk Day 2
Phew, what a lovely day it's been, in excess of 30 degrees. Matilda is very, very warm and all the windows and doors are still wide open at 10pm.
We went to Morston Quay this morning specifically to get a boat ride over to Blakeney Point to do some seal watching. All the boats were booked but we had a lovely walk along the marshes and booked a trip tomorrow on the 10am boat. After picnicking on the Quay we explored the areas around Blakeney: a visit to the Shell Museum at Glandford and after a walk through fields and woods we fell upon 'Rural Surroundings': a lovely cool spot to relax in with tea and cake surrounded by bees, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, and birds.
On our way home we stopped off at the local pub, The Fox and Hounds at Weasenham, for a pint of the local brew and sat in their garden watching the beautiful sunset. Dinner was late!!
