Chief amongst which was the fact that the weather was "nowt to crack on about", alternatively "a bit nowtish".
Then came the fact that I saw the "Grizzle" as a newcomer to the clan.
Followed by the fact that the two young ones looked decidedly on the Bed-Raggled side, while the two old hands seemed to be either water proof, or have found better shelter.
Then again - since I'm still trying to make amends for a lapse in concentration and backslapping like mad I saw the Grizzle later, in good light - you'd be surprised the array of colour around his/her neck/shoulder area.
