Plums

Our plum tree had much less fruit on it than in previous years.  However, this is the third bowlful we have picked, so around 5kg in all.  In the past I have used it to make jam, but this year it will just be lightly stewed and then packed in boxes for the freezer to be brought out as and when we need it.
