Veni, vidi, Rigi

As is traditional at these bamboo pipe internationals, we have a day off mid-week, and go on excursions.  The one I chose was a trip up Mount Rigi, which we could see from some of the classroom windows.  We took a cog railway part of the way, then could either walk to the top or get back on the train.  The walk was not difficult, though it was a very sunny day.  Very near the top, we paused for some refreshment at a pathside hostelry.  The view from the top was excellent, as it was very clear.  And then we took the railway down the other side of the mountain.
