Blackberries

Okay I did say that I wasn't going to take a close up photo today but I couldn't resist.

I have driven past these for a week now, watching out for decreasing numbers as everyone in the village picks them. However, there were hundreds when I finally got out to pick them this evening - and no signs of any missing from others taking them! Maybe word hasn't spread yet... I stayed out for about half an hour until I was sufficiently scratched and had enough to last me for a couple of days. I then went over to give some to my gran (before I realised she didn't like them!) 

Half are bitter and half are sweet - all taste wonderful though.
