Cramond Island

With low tide at 1pm we took the opportunity to walk the 1.5km causeway to Cramond Island. The pillars on the left are anti submarine pylons. At high tide, just the tops of the pillars can be seen above the water

No 1 son acted as tour guide. He lived in Edinburgh last year  doing a Masters and had been wanting to visit the island. We were so lucky with the tides.
