Work in progress

The girls passed on a 1/2 hour boat trip to the big “city” of  Ganges on Saltspring this morning (too early ). 
20 years ago we put this island property in trust for our 2 sons and hark, we are still alive in these 20 years so the lawyers are making it happen.  It’s complicated with American and Canadian rules but in the end we had to go in person to the bank in Ganges for the wire transfer to the Canadian lawyer.   Unfortunately  we were just there last week!   But the good news, I left my iPhone charger at Nanzy19’s so we met her at the grocery store to retrieve it.!   A mini mini blipmeet!  But with waits at the bank, the coffee shop and the grocery we were more than happy to get back home!   The girls came out of their cabin at 3:20 PM!!!! for the first breath of outdoor air today…just in time to help me finish the painting of the NW coast otter on our little boat shed. ( project that was planned 2 years ago but finally happened!)   THEN, since it was gorgeous (but HOT) they even went out in the Alden rowing boat. (extra) " A " rows with a team in Seattle but Tatum holds her own VERY well!  I’ll hope to get another blip of them later in the boat, but the painting is done...   Now they are having a swim before dinner.(which will be late)  When you get up mid afternoon, the whole schedule is skewed!  I’m used to boys so this girl thing is a total mystery to me!
