Our Cherry-less Tree
Today, was another day in Cambridge, although this time we never visited the city as I had an Addenbrookes Hospital appointment, which took up part of the morning and the entire middle of the day. Subsequent to this we visited Scotsdales on the way home, for a bite to eat and a brief break. During all of this time there was not much chance to take a picture. Upon arriving home, the first thing I tended to look at was our cherry tree. Earlier this year it was covered with blossom and then growing cherries, but now when we should have the cherries from the tree, every single one has been eaten by our wildlife; this has happened for each of the past few years. We have tried netting it, but the wildlife just broke through the netting, so I guess this is a lost cause and although it looks pretty we are unlikely to ever get any fruit from it.
