Tricia in her natural habitat
In about ten years, the same shot might just be of Tricia swimming in our pool. Sadly today, it is of Tricia removing another bucketful of soil to clear out the cellar of our ruin. Still a long way to go but helped today by the assembled might of six bodies for varying lengths of time rather than the customary two.
Thursday evening is the campsite "Repas familial", a meal on long tables where everyone eats the same and yesterday Bernard, a neighbour below us, persuaded us to book places at it, so off so gaily trotted. In the end it was six of us, Bernard and his wife and two grandchildren, two Belgian mutual friends with two of their friends who we vaguely knew and a Parisian couple we have known for years. Languages used varied confusingly between Flemish (not helpful), French (quite helpful) and English (v helpful). Moules frites not my favourite but a good time had by one and all.
