Substitute.

Posting early today, as we are off for an evening at Kielder Observatory - 'A Universe Full of Stars' is the theme and I think the idea is that we have a tour of the observatory, some talks, and we look through the telescopes and admire the heavens. This is TM's birthday treat from no2 son, and we have been looking forward to it.

But ... the cloud base is at just above roof-top level, and the forecast doesn't give much hope for improvement, so the chances are we won't see much. Maybe next time?

The picture is part of a piece of glass we bought in Tromso a while back, at the end of a trip to see the Aurora. Not much luck then either...
