Treat day

I had a bit of a treat today. I’ve increasing found it more difficult to deal with my toe nails and it’s not something wife is comfortable doing. So I took myself off to Happy Feet where my feet, including my nails were “serviced”. I must say I was almost tempted to photograph them for today’s blip but I thought that might be a step too far.

Instead I’m using one of the images I captured whilst photographing butterflies on the Buddleia this morning. There were even more today that earlier in the week so I had quite a few to choose from. In the end I’ve gone for a head on shot of a Small Tortoiseshell that reminds me of an aircraft preparing to take-off.
