Believe it or not

It's not an alien. It's not a yeti with buckteeth or a  flying purple people eater  Definitely not a hummingbird but it is a hummingbird moth. Head on view. Maybe a profile picture would have shown  its best side. I 'm sure it will be upset that I didn't  put its more ,um, attractive face forwards. I will however attempt to make up this faux pas by putting  a more glamorous shot  int the extras.
