Late afternoon walks

Sans butterflies. Well I saw several yellow sulfurs( they never sit still)  , a few cabbage whites and 1 monarch half way across the field. They appear to be a rarity this year. If Sierra Club is correct the Monarch population is down by 90% , largely due to habitat loss. So don't spray people ! They rely on those " weeds" , especially milkweeds. If you have space , plant natives for your area that will attract birds and /or butterflies!
