Back to Whitstable

Another very warm day. After lunch we decided to go to Whitstable to walk along the coastline and back taking in the sea, sun and sands (well, not the sands, the beach hereabouts has a lot of cobbles.

Many people around enjoying the attractions of a seaside town, many beach huts open with the occupants drinking white wine (ladies) and beer (men). Food and barbeques much in evidence. The tide was up and people were frollicking in the glassy smooth sea.

We enjoyed a very good and very cheap cup of tea in the shade which sustained us for the walk back to the car. Still warm when we got home, warm enough to sit outside for supper again, still, calm and yet pleasant.
