On the doormat!

A very pleasant morning walk around Cullingworth taking in Goit Stock woods and part of the Great Northern Trail across the viaduct. The only notable thing was a sheep with two young lambs. Pretty unusual at the end of August.

Can't believe I'm saying that - summer nearly over with the last bank holiday of the year on our doorstep till the Big C!

It had been wet overnight and the peacock was on our front porch hand rail again. We set off to the garden centre for some supports for our gladioli and a coffee in the Potting Shed. He fluttered off as we passed but this is what greeted us on our return. Sitting on the doormat at the kitchen door!
Even the postman was asking us how long we have had 'our' peacock!
