Another sunflower

Decided to take another photo of the sunflowers before they died off - this one is already starting to fade a bit.

So the bank holiday weekend lies ahead of us - for us it's the birthday weekend, with Adam's birthday on Saturday and mine on Monday. It's rather nice to have a birthday on a bank holiday. Surprisingly, the weather looks good too, usually for a bank holiday weekend the weather worsens.

I enjoyed watching the first episode of the Great British Bake Off - its number of viewers exceeded the most watched moments of the Olympics, isn't that an interesting statistic. What does it say about us, that we all love cake, or we all watch to see Paul's gorgeous blue eyes or whether Mary's bouffant hairdo will flop like a badly mixed cake? My favourites so far are Selasi, he is one cool baker, never gets stressed and just smiles his way through the whole challenge. I also like Benjamina and Andrew.
