Binding the nettle
Whitby backblip 1
Bindweed climbing the stalk of a decaying nettle, and meadow cranesbill going to seed, on Wooler Common. Joined MrM and Louie for their walk there this morning.
It's the first day of annual leave for Whitby Folk Week, where we're having a stall at the Craft Fair. After a day of preparation and packing, we hitched up the caravan and set off for Whitby just before 8.00pm. A good time to travel as we missed all the traffic (which, by all accounts, had been very heavy during the afternoon) and arrived at the school campsite by 11.00pm.
