COSMOS CLOSE UP

Hi there everyone. I hope your day has been a good one. Firstly, I would like to say a very BIG thank you for all your advice and tips regarding settings etc with my new macro Lens. You really have given me so much encouragement!! I am so grateful to you all.xx
I haven't had much time today to play with my camera. My Eldest Son popped over with the Grandchildren. Any hopes of dabbling went out the window!! However, as soon as their car had gone from the drive, I grabbed my camera and dashed out into the garden, nearly tripping over the cat in the process!! Nobody was safe, I am afraid. I was that desperate to experiment with the new lens. To get used to Aperture Priority and not Auto!! I haven't used the Auto setting once. I am determined to master it!
Anyhow, I hope you like this Photo that I took of the Cosmos. I have not done any retouching to it at all. The only thing I have done, is to add a vibrant filter to it. I feel that it gives the centre of the flower, almost a  golden crown. I rather liked the effect.
