Day 6: Writing

Bit of a last minute blip. Went to snap the "slow" sign at the end of my road but saw this and thought it was unusual.

Much better day today. J went into his new work for a meeting about bread. Just the thought of fresh bread of all varieties makes my mouth water.

We set about having a tidy up, me and the girls and we were in full swing when J came home to make us lunch. Perfect.

I'm slowly starting to realise the things that make me happy in life. In fact Im drawing up a mental list so I can prioritise them. One of those things is having the housework up to date. Not immaculate just manageable. Hmm Work in progress but Im feeling positive about understanding the effect it all has on my mood.

Been for a play date with new friends today. The little girl that M has been paired with when she moves into her new class next year. Sammy is lovely, I overheard her saying to M that she didnt need to worry about being in a new class without her old friends as they could enjoy being in their new class together. So sweet.

Sammy also has a little brother with great toys that L enjoyed messing up. In fact we're going to buy some of their Happyland bits off them. Nevermind L, I can't wait to play with it all. Came away with super house envy, their house has lots of rooms, a place for everything and it is all warm and homely with heaps of photos about the place. Must be a joy to live in.

Enjoyed a run this evening (another thing on my happy list). Its been a week since my last one for one reason of another. I usually run with a friend but she's on holiday at the moment. I must say it was quite nice to have some brain space for half an hour. Perfect! Fantastic sky tonight too!
