Dropped a Bollock AKA The Ships

Sail on by, nothing to see here on this blip. It's a bit shit.

Ok I know that this shot is a lot shit and is the kind of thing that is on the front of a birthday card that you give your Dad when you are about ten, but... the tornado ate my homework.

Well more like the tornado ruined my blip.

Was heading back home from Manchester and got stuck on the M62 in flash flooding, lightning, hail and there was news of a tornado ahead. The road became impassable so I had to head for my Mum's in Lancashire via Preston Docks.

So the boat blip should have been a dramatic weather blip but chosing common sense and safety over blipping ( there's a first ) you didn't get the shot I was after.

Anyways, finally back blipping this as am home safe and sound again now. Need to blip and run before I get my lazy ass on the sofa again for day ten of The GB Taking Over The World Olympics.

Speaking of which, I haven't written since Sensation Saturday. One of the best nights I have ever seen of sport. We were at my mate Emma's and we were all shouting for Mo like a bunch of gladiators ( because of course they watched TV ), amazing amazing stuff and a tribute to all the sterling efforts of the athletes,coaches and games makers. I wish I had been there. Two blippers were. Check out Dr Mackem and BrianPorter
It's all fab in these games. Very happy.
