Gone for a swim ...

When I went out this afternoon to turn on the pool filter and skim the top I saw this rather wet sparrow sitting on the top rung of the ladder!

It looks like she might have fallen in as she was soaking wet!  I was able to scoop her out of the pool and onto the concrete decking that surrounds the pool.  She then scuttled into a potted plant and stayed there for awhile.  I checked on her after a bit and she had left at some point so I guess she is okay.

That's the second time I have had to rescue a bird from our pool!
