The Temptation of Low Hanging Fruit

We cycled to bell ringing this morning. There were not too many ringers there so we had to do two stints of ringing. We always ring within ourselves on Sundays so we rang call changes both times. For the last few weeks at practise I have been calling the changes but I am not yet good enough for a Sunday. However the ringing went well and I was pleased with my attempts. None of the ringers said anything after we had finished which is always a good sign.

R came over later in the morning with her Mum and Dad and we went for a very slow walk up to the walled garden. R enjoyed meeting all the dogs on the way and looking at and smelling the flowers. She also enjoyed an ice cream while we were there.
