Keeping an Eye on Me

The theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by JDO is Sight. This glass head sits on my desk at home, I use it to rest my hat and look after the spectacle lying on the desk. There are two pairs, a spare pair of dark glasses and the one she/he is currently wearing which were my late mother's. I'm not sure how I managed to inherit these glasses, I'm sure they weren't listed in the will, but I feel they belong here, a reminder of my mother watching over me. I like the pattern created on the head by the the sun shining through the straw hat.

Incidentally, yesterday I mentioned Tom was off to a party. Well he seems to have had a good time, there's a picture on Facebook today showing him in a hot tub with five girls!
