(S)Tatuary Tuesday

I think this is my least favorite of our cities new "art" pieces this year. I am confounded by it on several fronts.

1. What is it? Is it a dragon? Is it a monster? Is it a purple people eater? Is it a T-rex? I don't know.

2. What's with the title? It is called Mimic. MIMIC? MIMIC? Thankfully, the artist didn't mimic the original, and make two.

3. The price. The piece is maybe 8 feet tall, and it costs over one thousand dollars per foot. The total? 8 thousand, 7 hundred, and 50 dollars. I'll steal the title and say..."Yikes...Yikes!! Oh my...Oh my!!!"
