On the stump

Audit Committee today with both internal and external audit present. Put through our paces and emerged with some reassuring noises. Information governance remains a key topic - and risk - for us. And a lot of interest in how we are structuring our management to ensure we are getting best value and delivering in the most efficient manner.

On my way home I spotted this tree trunk (a felled Dutch Elm rather than a petunia tree?) which had been put to use. I've no idea who planted or tends the flowers. But it makes the old stump more attractive.
