Kiotari, Rhodes Day 9

This morning Chris and I walked to Glystra Beach. I had been told that this was a beautiful, sandy beach in a lovely little bay and well worth a visit. The reception desk staff told us it was too far to walk as it was about half an hour but after walking to the bus stop and realising that we had about a half hour wait for the bus anyway, we (stupidly) decided to walk. It was morning thankfully so it was only about 24 degrees but it was a lot further than we thought and we had to climb up and over the hills to get there! The views were stunning however and it was well worth the walk from a photography perspective. We finally arrived at our destination extremely hot and sweaty about an hour later!!
Today was a very difficult day to choose a picture as I had several from the walk and in the evening the animation team put on a fire show. I managed to finally figure out how to slow down my camera speed and this worked well with some of the things that they were doing.
