Catch up

I have just asked about the coffee served to us a few minutes ago in MacD (see Tuesday), it was sweet and horrible. The manager chap was excellent, 'Let me see your receipt, ahh you have it with daim'
me 'with daim? What is daim?'
'Let me get you two more coffees'
me ''thank you'
He returns and again I ask about daim, he disappeared and returned with small dish sweet chocolate granules. This explains the gradual feel when stirring the coffee. In future we need to ask for cappuccino without daim.

He was very helpful and pleasant, it's two years since our last visit to France, I wonder when 'daim' arrived.
